When Paul was growing up on a crop and livestock farm, he probably never imagined that he’d still be in agriculture four decades later. And while the road to get here started with a degree in Ag Business, his circuitous journey included County Supervisor for the FSA, Ag Loan Officer at a community bank and even a short time as an Insurance Advisor. His life in ag has also included weathering the turbulent Farm Crisis in the 80s. All told, Paul’s been at Land O’Lakes close to 30 years now (20 years of those dedicated to some of the same customers). After all this time, he’s never lost the desire to help people, especially when it’s a family focused on sustaining a multi-generational farm. This is a lifelong career for Paul, one that’s a combination of dedication and passion, from being a trusted advisor to co-owning a swine facility.
