Lance’s life has consisted of ag relationships built slowly over time. Being raised on a third-generation farm in southwest Minnesota tends to instill that in a person. In fact, it’s an operation he returns to from time to time, whether it’s working on row crops or the cattle feedlot. His lifelong commitment to ag was bolstered by his degree in Agricultural Business at the University of Minnesota, which grew from an internship at Land O’Lakes to Chief Lending Officer in 2017, where he currently oversees all lending functions. Ultimately, his greatest joy comes from seeing the continued success of customers he’s helped over the years. And now that his three kids have become more involved in ag, he also finds happiness in the fact that his family could proudly lay claim to a fifth-generation farm.
