The volatility and risk management involved in Erica’s job is something she takes very seriously. Raising corn, soybeans, hogs, and cattle on her family farm gives her special insight into the daily and seasonal challenges her customers face. She’s been involved in agricultural lending for 12 years, having worked with the USDA once she’d received a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy. Her expertise in corn, soybean, and hog production has served her well, especially while she worked as an Agricultural Loan Officer at a local bank. Needless to say, Erica’s career has seen quite a few highlights. And while the biggest of those would be completing coursework for her Masters in Agribusiness, she’d also put operating a farm with her husband and three kids high up on that list, too.
