Loan officers prepare loan analysis and narratives for presentation to a loan committee, make lending recommendations, negotiate loan terms with perspective borrowers and service all loans. Other responsibilities include presenting finance programs to local cooperatives and producers, coordinating financing activities, and assisting in the development and implementation of financing programs.

Qualifications include: Minimum five years of progressive agricultural lending experience, good understanding of livestock production, strong interpersonal and team skills, outstanding oral and written communication skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to travel.
